Rain, Rain, Go Away

Rain, rain, go away! It's been raining pretty much all weekend, and this girl is a bit tired of it. While I do love love love the sound of rain, it puts me to sleep and keeps me from being productive! I've got three big tests this week, so rain, do me a favor and be gone, will ya?

Work hard, give back, and love.

Spring is Upon Us, Floridians!

Partial OOTD before a math exam
While I am sad to see the winter weather slowly starting to leave here in Florida, a little part of me is eager for spring. I'm excited for my birthday (I can't believe I'll be turning 19!), going home for spring break, and the ability to wear shorts and sandals without my legs and toes freezing!

I officially whipped out the pink and green Sperry's yesterday, everyone! Spring is upon us... in Florida at least!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday! (Wonderful Wednesday... see what I did there? ;) lol)

Work hard, give back, and love.

Kicking it Old School!

Happy Mail!
Hello, lovely ladies,

A friend of mine, Miss Emily Benko, (check out her blog by clicking here) messaged me on twitter asking if she could send me snail mail, and you cannot believe my excitement! I'm one of those girls who LOVES anything that has to do with crafting, and the idea of making homemade cards made my heart pitter-patter. I instantly began typing ideas down in the notes section of my phone and checked out "diy snail mail" posts on Pinterest!

We live in such a busy world filled with text messages, iMessages, instant messages, emails, etc. It's actually a ton of fun to just sit down and spend time crafting a card for someone else and filling it with messages in the hope of making them smile!

If you subscribe me on YouTube (you can check it out here) be on the lookout for a "DIY: Crafting for SnailMail" video in the near future!

Hope everyone's been having a great week so far!

Work hard, give back, and love.

Happy H A P P Y Monday?

Hello beauties! Happy Monday!!

Courtney's excited for it to be Monday? What? Yes, I'm aware Mondays are not always fun. I know, I know. I'll be the first to say that getting out of bed this morning was not anywhere close to easy. However, what if we were to think about Monday in a different light?

Last year, my high school Latin teacher told my class to think about Mondays as having five new days to make a difference. When she first said that, I thought she was crazy and out of her mind! But, when you think about it, you realize that it's completely true. It's a new school and work week, so what if we all made the goal to be more positive and to try influence as many as we can?

So with that said, good morning,
and HAPPY Monday everyone! Let's all
use this week to make a difference and to inspire... one person at a time.

Today, I'm going for the super casual look for this beautiful 60 degree weather. Boat shoes, jeggings, and a comfy long sleeved shirt is my perfect kind of lounge-wear!

Inspire on.

Entering a WORLD of Bliss

Hello, my lovelies!

Today, I had a day filled with bliss. A few friends and I piled into a car and drove off to Thomasville, Georgia. I didn't know what to expect, but was in complete awe when we arrived. Downtown Thomasville is a beautiful little area with streets lined with the most precious boutiques, eateries, and cupcake shops! The entire day I felt as if I had taken a step out of reality and into the world of the the olden days and southern pride. We started by eating lunch at a coffee shop, and then the adventures began.

I found so many clothing, jewelry, snailmail items, etc that I loved, but was so proud of myself for only buying one thing. I completely fell in love with the item I purchased the second I laid eyes on it. And best of all, it was on sale! If you're interested in finding out with that item was, be on the lookout for my Collective 2014 Spring Haul on my Youtube Channel in the future!

I hope you all had as of an amazing day as I did!

Work hard, give back, and love.

xoxo, Courtney
